Some fun from my workshops in New England…
I'm Amanda Rouse Letscher, a New Hampshire-USA based surface pattern designer and printmaker. I make conversational patterns that are playful and quirky for every product imaginable. I love drawing with markers, really bright colors, exploring new places, dancing to live music, and everything ocean/aquatic. I have a strong passion for the never-ending cycle of creating, learning, and sharing that teaching and making art provides. I teach design at the University of New Hampshire and printmaking, indigo dyeing, and painting classes around northern New England.

Save Our 70 is an ocean education social media campaign founded by my husband and me on Earth Day of 2017. Our mission is to educate and inspire the world about the oceans by sending out one ocean fact every Friday across social media. We hope these facts inspire positive change and awareness for our precious oceans. The first fact is in the name, did you know the oceans cover 70+% of our Earth!
